btw if you accidently have a timecode on your rushes then one way to get rid of it (if you can do it this way) is to use the clip, or crop filter in premier and clip the image down to widescreen (take off about 14% at top and bottom of image).
Perhaps that helps....

the original question...
there is a patch for winamp available from the site that lets yuo change the pitch and speed of audio, i used to use it to slow down music to learn it easier... but i can see no reason why you couldnt lower the pitch of vioce overs and stuff

Funny.. ive always loved editing (I hate rendering though). But think about it! in the editing room, half the film is directed. Thats where you "texture" your movie, give it the right feel, select takes to use etc.. its soooo important.

Hehe, strangely, I really like editing too, something about sitting alone in my bedroom all day, cutting, pasting, adding music, redoing stuff, i dunno i just really get a kick out of it. You're right, ickle, it's important, too...
